"I view therapy as a search to discover more meaning and satisfaction in life, free from crippling emotional symptoms. Although crisis often drives people into therapy, they often leave with precious opportunites for new life. Energy that had been spent managing problems like anxiety, addiction and depression, for example, can be used to create a life of healthy purpose and pleasure. I view my role as providing therapeutic skill to create a safe environment and caring relationship, elements necessary to support one's search for authentic self and full self-expression. The result is joyful aliveness. I am trained in several traditional psychotherapeutic techniques and specialize in methods that address the body as much as thoughts and feelings. This holistic approach produces deep and lasting change that goes far beyond the relief of symptoms. Mind and body learn to work together effortlessly toward full health.

In my experience, this integrative work benefits those experiencing emotional and mood imbalances, relationship difficulties, trauma or abuse issues as well as challenging life transitions. My special areas of training include Bioenergetic Analysis, EMDR, Focusing and Meditation for Stress Management. I work with children, couples, families and indiviuals."
